Waxing New Moon in Libra: Finding Balance and Brave New Beginnings

Last night we stepped into the waxing new moon in Libra, a great time for deep reflection and quiet beginnings. During my live readings today, I noticed a collective energy of new starts, and brave choices.  

Libra energy reminds us of partnership, balance, fairness, and choices. Think about where you need to choose balance, or summon courage for something new.

Here are some simple ways you can align yourself with Libra’s energy today. Feel free to let me know if you try any and how it works out for you!

1. Write a list of choices you’ve been avoiding. Even if you don’t decide yet, seeing them on paper creates clarity and also stirs energy.

2. Do a balance ritual for the most pressing of those you listed for 1. Light two candles, one for each side of a choice, and sit quietly between them, breathing into harmony. White candles is great for this, as white speaks of the highest energy and that which has not manifested yet, but the blank canvas of white is perfect for writing your dreams on.

3. Invite beauty into your life. Libra is ruled by Venus, so wear something you feel beautiful in, or bring fresh flowers into your space.
